Chairman DDC Budgam inaugurates School Building at Chanowpora
BUDGAM: The Chairman District Development Council (DDC) Budgam Nazir Ahmad Khan on Saturday inaugurated the Government High School Building at Chanowpora Beerwah.
The high school building was constructed at the cost of Rs 1.62 crores and was dedicated to the public in a function organised by the School Education Department.
Speaking at the occasion, Chairman DDC said the district administration along with Council was committed to complete all languishing projects in the district.
He impressed upon directorate of SAMAGRA Shiksha and other executing agencies to expedite the work on various buildings.
He also visited Sonpah and Arwah villages to participate in the ongoing Back to Village programmes and distributed land passbooks among the various farmers at Arwah village.
The DDC urged visiting officers to include all pressing demands in their suggestions and give due preference to PRI members during their stay in the villages.
