DPO Bpr flags-off CSC Van under Jan Abhiyan, B2V-4

BANDIPORA: The District Programme Officer (DPO) Bandipora Mohammad Ashraf Hakak on Saturday flagged off CSC Van for the purpose of awareness generation and provision of on spot Digital Services under the ambitious programme of Jan Abhiyan and Back to Village campaigns.

The Van hosts complete package on Digital Services being offered by different Departments.

The CSC operators during its seven days stay in Bandipora shall provide on spot online services to people with complete demonstration of efficiency of IT enabled public services, said JDP on the occasion.

The Van shall tour the rural areas of the district during the campaign and provide dozens of IT enabled govt services to the public at their doorstep in prominent rural localities.

In order to better government-citizen relationship, Jan Abhiyan (Awami Muhim) and Back to Village-4 has been launched by J&K Administration and flagging-off Van is an important event in the run up to the B2V-4.

The initiative is the first of its kind, proactive Government-beneficiary interface campaign which aims to demonstrate the efficiency and capability of government functionaries in addressing the issues of the general public.

The programme of Jan Abhiyan has been set with a view to achieve 100 percent saturation in Individual Beneficiary Schemes (IBS) and self employment schemes so that special focus shall be given to the effective implementation of welfare and developmental schemes before conduct of B2V-4.

PRI representatives, officials play a pivotal role in this regard and they shall educate the people about various welfare programmes and schemes.
