ERO Handwara reviews voter enrolment progress
KUPWARA: The Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) Handwara on Monday convened a meeting of the Principals of various educational institutions to review the progress of the electoral awareness programme.
The meeting was convened on the directions of District Election Officer (DEO) Kupwara.
The ERO directed all the heads of the institutions to organize different activities including symposiums, essay competitions and cycle rallies for the awareness of the students regarding electoral registration.
Meanwhile, hands-on training to the Principals were given and demonstration on how one can log on to www.nvsp.in or download voter helpline for offline mode was also shown.
On the occasion, the heads of the institutions were provided hard copies of Form 6.
