LCMA holds demolition drive at Ashai-Bagh Ranger-stop

SRINAGAR: The Enforcement Wing of J&K Lake Conservation and Managment Authority (LCMA) on Saturday carried out a demolition drive at Ashai-bagh Ranger-stop of Srinagar to demolish the illegally raised structures.
During the drive, three tin wallings, three Sheds and two tin raised second stories were demolished.
During the demolition process some violators/miscreants assembled at various sites and hurled stones and bricks on the demolition team but the team remained on forefront and managed to demolish the illegally raised structures.
Further, legal action against the violators was also initiated.
People in these areas have been warned not to resort to any illegal encroachments and were asked to get proper building permission from the competent Authority before taking any construction in hand.
During the drive the Police Contingent from PCR, Police Station Nigeen was accompanying the drive.
