DDC Pulwama e-launches uniform timetable from LKG to 12th classes
PULWAMA: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Pulwama, Baseer ul Haq Choudhary on Monday e-launched uniform timetable of classes from LKG to 12th in the district in presence of Chief Education Officer Pulwama, Nazir Ahmad Reshi.
In his address, the DDC said that a uniform timetable will ensure availability of teaching staff to all students online mode, facilitate sharing of resources, retention of teachers within the school during school timing and check on absenteeism, and daily practical work in science subjects.
“It shall enable teachers to have hands- on ICT and keep ICT/CAL Labs functional and will facilitate guest lectures which can be attended by the students of all schools without disturbing their routine class work,” he said.
CEO informed that it will ensure availability of subject specific teachers to all students and all teachers were instructed to come prepared to their classes, ensuring that all students are exposed to ICT besides overall punctuality of the Teachers and accountability.
Among others present on the occasion were officers from district administration and officers of the education department.
