Budgam MCs holds Swachhta Abhiyan rallies
BUDGAM: The Municipal Committees in Budgam held various Swachhta rallies under the ongoing National Swachhta Campaign on Thursday.
Municipal Committee Beerwah organised a rally which was chaired by President Municipal Council (MC) Khurshid Ahmed Banday and Executive Officer Imtiyaz Ahmad Wani.
The rally was organized from the Municipal Committee Office to Bairam Hill in which the youth actively participated.
The President MC Beerwah said that the aim and objective behind this campaign is to make the town Garbage Free and this programme will continue till 2nd October 2022.
On this occasion, the Executive Officer sincerely requested the public that they can also be a part of this campaign so that we can succeed in keeping our environment clean.
Similar rallies were also held at other Municipalities of Budgam.
