Public Darbar Camp held at Budnamal, Kupwara

KUPWARA: The district administration Kupwara Thursday organized a Public Darbar cum grievance redressal camp at far flung area Budnamal of Reddi Chowkibal block in Kupwara District.
The camp was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kupwara Ghulam Nabi Bhat.
DDC Member Chowkibal, Habibullah Beigh; BDC Chairperson, Firdous Ahmad; Tehsildar Kralpora, BDO, BMO, SHO, besides, PRIs, general public and officers/representatives from various departments attended the day long public darbar.
In his address the ADC said the government was committed to ensure equitable development of all areas, especially far flung areas like Budnamal.
He assured the people of Budnamal of every possible support from the District Administration for redressal of their developmental issues and grievances.
The ADC directed the concerned ZEO for deployment of required teachers in local schools to ensure proper Teacher Student ratio and asked people to identify the drug affected persons if any in their areas saying that the government will ensure their rehabilitation so that they can live a dignified life.
Earlier, DDC Members, PRIs and prominent citizens put forth developmental issues and grievances pertaining to the population of Budnamal area.
The ADC heard them patiently and passed on spot directions to the concerned officers for redressal of the issues of the people. He assured them that he will take up remaining issues with the higher ups for their timely resolution. He said that he will take review on October 15 to see the progress of grievance redressal.
