Shopian admin provides financial assistance to kin of Sunil Kumar
Shopian: Officials of district administration Shopian on Thursday visited Chotigam, Shopian, and expressed condolences with the family of Sunil Kumar who was killed in a terror attack.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Shopian Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani along with SDM Zainapora, Tehsildar Hermain and Accounts Officer prayed for fast recovery of the injured brother of the deceased.
“They also handed over financial assistance of Rs 1.15 lakh among the next of kin (NoK) of the deceased, injured brother duo,” an official spokesman said.
The ADC said the district administration will also provide ex-gratia relief to the family soon as per norms.
