‘Aan Baan Shaan of Tiranga’: APC Zewan holds Joint Special Tiranga March, Nukkad Natak
SRINAGAR: The J&K Armed Police 3RD Sec, 9TH and JKAP-12th Security Bn Zewan on Wednesday organized a joint Special Tiranga March and Nukkad Natak on the theme ‘Aan Baan Shaan of Tiranga’ in connection with celebration of “Har Ghar Jhanda” programme.
The event was held under Civic Action Programme 2022-23 at APC Zewan.
Students from various government schools of Balhama, Zewan areas of the district participated in the event.
The event was inaugurated by CO JKAP-3rd Sec Bn Sukhdev Raj in presence of CO JKAP 12th Security Battalion Sanjay Singh Rana.
The participating staff and school children of Balhama and Zewan areas as well as other guests and officers and officials of JKAP-3rd, 9th and JKAP-12th Security Bns were present at the occasion.
On the occasion, CO JKAP-3rd Sec Bn highlighted the importance of the National Flag and elaborated the flag code, size and meaning of three panels of Tri-colour.
The CO JKAP 12th Security Battalion also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the history of the National Flag.
He elaborated the purpose of Tiranga March and emphasized the importance of good Police Public Relationship and benefits of Civic Action Programme and threw light on the programmes conducted by J&K police under CAP from time to time under the guidance of Police Headquarters J&K.
DYSP JKAP-12th Security Bn Tariq Khursheed and DySP JKAP 3rd Bn Nazir Ahmad also spoke on the occasion.
Various students presented cultural programmes, patriotic songs and the National anthem.
The function was attended by Principal government BHS Balhama, Principal government GHS Balhama, Principal Government BHS Zewan, Principal government MS Apparpora Balhama and Principal HSS Boys Khonmoh Srinagar and other staff members of the Schools as well as officers and officials of JKAP-3rd , 9th, and JKAP-12th security battalions.
