“We see that almost every minor link roads are being macadamised but due to unknown reasons, our road which is connecting two to three villages with each other besides that orchards of several villages are along this road,” Sameer Ahmad, a local resident said.
He said that fruit season was approaching and due to dilapidated condition of this road , people of several villages are suffering as it will be difficult to pass vehicle through the road.
“Around a decade before some work was done on this road but since then it has been left unattended,” Farooq Ahmad, another local said.
He said that since last three four years they have been moving from pillar to post but nothing was done by the concerned department in this regard.
Locals said that they have brought this issue in notice of higher ups dozens of times who always assure that road will be macadamised but these assurances prove hoax on ground.
