Bidhuri thanks officials, agencies for successful conduct of Hajj-2022

SRINAGAR: Commissioner Secretary Revenue Vijay Kumar Bidhuri on Thursday extended his gratitude to all the agencies associated with Hajj-2022 particularly the Staff of Haj Committee of J&K for making the process a successful exercise.
The Hajj process 2022 concluded on Thursday on arrival of the last flight from Saudi Arabia with 145 Haj pilgrims on board.
Govt had made adequate arrangements at Hajj House Srinagar/Jammu, Srinagar Airport for departure and arrival of haj pilgrims.
Under Secretary, Revenue Department, Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat was Nodal Officer for the whole process.
This year 6072 persons were selected which include 3411 males and 2660 females. One pilgrim of District Kupwara died during this period at Saudi Arabia.
