KVK Budgam holds seed, tool kit distribution programme
BUDGAM: The Krishi Vigyan Kendra Budgam in collaboration with DARS Budgam SKUAST-K Monday organised awareness cum seed and tool kit distribution programme at Drang.
During the programme, free oats seed and tool kits were distributed among tribal farmers of the area. The material was distributed among the farmers under all India Research Coordinated Project (AICRP) on Forage Crops.
The programme was attended by Prof. Arshid A. Mughal, Associate Director (Directorate of Research SKUAST-K); Prof. Nasir Ahmad Dar (Directorate of Research SKUAST-K); Prof. Noorul Saleem Khuroo (AICRP Forage DARS Budgam); Dr. Zahida Rashid (Scientist DARS Budgam); Dr Bilal Ahmad Lone (Sr. Scientist & Head KVK Budgam) and Dr Sabia Akhter (Scientist KVK Budgam) besides progressive farmers of the area.
