DLSA Bandipora organises awareness programme on NALSA scheme

BANDIPORA: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Bandipora Saturday conducted an awareness programme on NALSA (Effective Implementation of Poverty alleviation) Scheme 2015 and population day Government Boys High School Asham Sumbal Sonawari.
The event was organised in coordination with Tehsil Legal Services Committees Bandipora, Sumbal in collaboration with Government Boys High School Asham Sumbal Sonawari.
The awareness programme was organised under the guidance and chairmanship of Javaid Ahmad Geelani Principal District and Sessions Judge Bandipora and under the Supervision of Fariqa Nazir Sub-Judge DLSA Bandipora.
Advocate Naziya Parveen and Advocate Gazala Amin Panel Lawyers were the resource persons who delivered the speeches on NALSA (Effective Implementation of Poverty Alleviation) Scheme, 2015.
Notably the poverty alleviation schemes refer to any scheme/Programme launched either by the Central Government or the State Government that is aimed at addressing any dimension of poverty. The main objectives of the scheme are to ensure access to basic rights and benefits afforded to socially or economically weaker sections of the society.
They enunciated the gathering about several poverty alleviation programmes in India meant to address poverty alleviation directly or indirectly launched by the incumbent government such as the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) a financial inclusion scheme, the Pradhan Mantri Garmin Awaas Yojana (PMGAY) a housing scheme for the rural poor, etc to improve living conditions of the poor sections of society.
Moreover, Resource persons highlighted the theme of World Population Day “A World of 8 Billion: Towards a Resilient Future for All—Harnessing Opportunities and Ensuring Rights and Choices for All.”
