Anantnag admin provides Rs 1 lakh to family of deceased pony-wala
Anantnag: District Administration Anantnag on Monday expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Imtiyaz Hussain Kissani, a pony-wala who died while providing services to the Shri Amarnathji pilgrims.
Deputy Commissioner Anantnag conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved family and expressed gratitude to the deceased while recalling his services for smooth conduct of the pilgrimage.
“As a token of assistance, the district administration sanctioned Rs one lakh as financial assistance in favour of the family,” an official spokesman said.
