DG IMPARD presides over valedictory function of 2 month SATC

Srinagar: The Director General J&K IMPARD Saurabh Bhagat Friday presided over the valedictory function of Secretariat Assistants Training Course (SATC) at main campus of IMPARD.
It was a medium duration training course for 373 J&K government frontline functionaries which included senior assistants and junior assistants launched on May 5 this year.
During the training course IMPARD arranged various interactive sessions for the personality development of the trainees in addition to the examination-driven syllabus prescribed by the Public Service Commission (PSC).
“It was done so that these trainees not only pass the requisite Departmental Examination and perform their official tasks in an efficient manner, but also that they become good human beings motivated through their service career by the spirit of public service,” the official handout reads.
These additional sessions included Yoga meditation and exercise regime taught; an interaction session by Anil Malik, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Information Technology, Government of Haryana and an interaction session by Chetan Trivedi, VC, VKM University of Junagarh, Gujarat.
Speaking on the occasion, Saurabh Bhaghat appreciated the trainees for their discipline and congratulated them for completion of their training and hoped that they would soon qualify the Departmental Examination on the basis of which they would become eligible for next promotion.
He informed that IMPARD has affected an increase in the honorarium being paid to guest faculty and that efforts are always on to hire the services of best faculty to impart training to frontline functionaries.
DG IMPARD informed the trainees that the infrastructure in terms of classrooms and computer lab is continuously being improved so that future trainees achieve hands-on computer operating experience during their training at this all is done with the support of Chief Secretary, A K Mehta.
Pertinently 1000 frontline functionaries will join IMPARD Srinagar and 750 will join IMPARD Jammu this week.
