Bla admin finlasises arrangements for DGPC Elections-2022
Baramulla: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Baramulla Zahoor Ahmad Raina chaired a meeting of concerned officers to discuss arrangements being put in place for smooth conduct of District Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (DGPC) elections, 2022.
The elections are scheduled to be held June 27.
On the occasion, a threadbare discussion was held for the overall arrangements including security and transport plan in the district. It was impressed upon the concerned to ensure proper security arrangements besides transport facilities be made available for the smooth and fair conduct of the GPC election 2022.
The Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Peerzada Mumtaz Ahmad who is also Returning Officer informed the meeting that 21 polling stations are being established across the district for the said elections. Besides, he also informed that necessary training is being given to the staff deployed for polling duties for its smooth and fair conduct.
The meeting was attended by Additional SP Baramulla, SDPO Rafiabad, AERO, ARTO among other functionaries of the concerned departments.
