Encounter rages on in Pulwama village
Srinagar, June 20: One terrorist has been killed in an overnight gunfight in Chatapora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.
Official sources said that one ultra has been killed in an overnight encounter, however his identity is yet to be ascertained.
Earlier, reports said that a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Chatapora.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.(GNS)
