Two days Baba Nagri Urs Concludes in Kangan

Ganderbal: The 125­th annual Urs of Hazrat Baba Mian Nizam-ud-Din Kiyanvi (RA), which commenced on Tuesday at Baba Nagri, Wangath in Kangan, concluded on Wednesday.
Around one lakh devotees attended the Urs this year, after two years of cancellation.
Special prayers were held on the second day of the Urs, besides the nightlong prayers held on Tuesday.
Devotees from different corners of Jammu and Kashmir particularly Rajouri, Doda, Udhampur, Poonch, Kishtwar, Shopian, Doda,Islamabad, Kupwara and Baramulla reached Baba Nagri and besides paying obeisance on the Dargah of Hazrat Baba Nizam-ud-Din Kiyani (RA) attended the congregation.
Besides religious personalities, Sajadah Nasheen Mian Altaf Ahmad and scores of Islamic scholars participated in the congregation and deliberated on the teachings of Islam and the life and contribution of Hazrat Baba Mian Nizam-ud-Din Kiyani (RA) and Late Mian Bashir Ahmed.
Mian Altaf emphasized upon the devotees to work for the welfare of the humanity and follow the teachings of Islam and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
