Killing of labourer in Budgam: Police arrests brick kiln owner for non-compliance
Budgam, Jun 06: Days after the killing of non local labourer in Budgam, police on Monday arrested a brick kiln owner for negligence and non-compliance of government orders.
In a statement issued here police said that Mohammed Yousuf Mir resident of Chattergam who’s brick kiln is located at Magraypora Chadoora was arrested under FIR number 102/2022 at Police Station Chadoora.
Pertinently, on June 2, terrorists fired upon two labourers in the brick kiln resulting in death of one of the labourers who was identified as Dilkhush Kumar son of Narayan Rishidev resident of Gaon Ladugarh, Purina. The other suffered bullet wounds and was under treatment.
Police has advised all the brick kiln owners and managers to strictly follow the guidelines issued by government/administration to ensure safety of the labourers working in their respective units.
In-case of non-compliance or any negligence, police said strict action is warranted under law.
