Cop’s body found in Bhaderwah, CRPF trooper dies in Sgr hospital
Jammu/Srinagar: Dead body of a Special Police Officer (SPO) was found under mysterious circumstance near 100 meters from his home in Bhaderwah area of Doda district. Meanwhile, a CRPF trooper died after falling unconscious.
Official sources said that the body of SPO identified as Subash Chander was recovered by the family from Drafra area.
According to his father he had asked family over phone to keep his meals ready.
“Fifteen minutes later his body was recovered at around 9:30 p.m. last night,” his father said and alleged that his son has been “murdered” by someone.
SHO Baderwah Jatinder Singh Rakwal said that police have started proceedings under section 174 CrpC.
Meanwhile, a CRPF man posted at District Police Line Pulwama died after he fell unconscious on Wednesday.
An official said that a CRPF man posted at DPL Pulwama fell unconscious on Wednesday morning following which he was shifted to district hospital Pulwama.
He said that from district hospital Pulwama, he was referred to SMHS Srinagar for further treatment, however, he was declared brought dead on arrival.
The trooper has been identified as HC Shiv Shankar of 182 Bn CRPF.
