JK reports seven new covid-19 cases

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir reported seven new covid-19 cases while there was no death due to the virus during the past 24 hours, officials said on Saturday.
They said that six of the cases were reported from Jammu and one from Srinagar districts, taking the overall tally to 454234—166458 in Jammu and 287776 in Kashmir.
There was also no death due to the pathogen reported in the last 24 hours, they said. So far 4752 persons have succumbed to the virus—2328 in Jammu and 2424 in Kashmir.
Besides, they said, seven Covid-19 patients recovered during the last 24 hours—six from Jammu division and one from Kashmir. So far 449418 people have recovered, leaving the active case tally at 63— 45 in Jammu and 18 in Kashmir.
The officials said that there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 51 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said. They also informed that 9083 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
