Several Delegations call on DC Baramulla, raise several issues

BARAMULLA: Makdoom Trust Jammu and Kashmir, a delegation from Sopore and Delegation of Gujjar Bakerwal Baramulla today called on Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar at her office Chamber here and warmly welcomed her on assuming charge as Deputy Commissioner Baramulla and also appraised her about various issues of public importance.
The delegation comprising representatives from various areas of Baramulla district appraised DC about various issues and demands for the socio economic development of their areas.
The Makdoom Trust delegation of Sopore appraised DC with regard to the upgradation of Primary Health Centre at Tujar Sopore and upgradation of Girls Government High School Arampora of south Sopore.
The macdamization of inner road links of Tujar Shareef and early completion of Mahrajpora Bridge besides upgradation of irrigation pumps stations were also among the demands that were put forth by representatives of the delegation.
Other Delegation of Gujjar Bakerwal Baramulla also appraised DC with regard to the various issues and sought her intervention for timely redressal of their demands.
Transportation facility of Kandi Baramulla, holding of Block Divas at tribal areas, renovation of Gujjar Bakerwal hostel, macdamization of roads were the major demands of Gujjar Bakerwal delegation Baramulla.
The DC gave a patient hearing to the demands put forth and assured both delegations that all the genuine grievances and demands shall be looked into for timely redressal.
