Teacher learning process: Principal Degree College Bandipora calls for more professional approach

Bandipora: Principal Degree College Bandipora Prof Dr Mohammad Amin Malik called for creating more professional approach and atmosphere in teacher learning process to benefit the students in line with paedagogical and career employability in modern high competitive market across the world.
Accompanied a team of faculty members of the college, Prof Malik visited Government Girls Middle School Onagam Bandipora to take view and review of the the academic and infrastructural status of the school.
The College team received by ZEO Quilmuqam, Headmaster, staff and students of the school expressed satisfaction over the conducive environment developed by the teachers for teaching learning process in the school.
Prof Malik, however, expressed his deep regret saying that that even after near about 100 years of its establishment, the school still runs in a dilapidated building.
Responding to the demands put forth by the students during the interactive session, Dr Malik assured that he would make all possible efforts to redress their grievances.
In his welcome address, Headmaster Javaid Ahmad Bhat gave a brief description of the institute. He informed the visiting College team that the roll of the school increased cent percent during last 4 years despite various deficiencies including lack of infrastructure.
He suggested that teachers need to be taken on educational exposure tours within and outside J&K, to learn new trends and benefit from experiences of other educational institutions.
The team comprising of Professor Abdul Gani Kumar, Dr Ashiq Hussain Zarger ,Dr Sameen Mohiuddin and Dr Nasrul Islam coordinator UBA including ZEO Quilmuqam Mr Ab Rahim Lone interacted with the students in the classrooms and sought feedback about their studies and related matters.
The team applauded the role of the headmaster for bringing about drastic changes through innovative and novel practices in the personality development of the students.
Besides students and staff, Village Education Committee members and parents of the students were also present on the occasion.
