Six CRPF jawans injured in road accident in Shopian

Srinagar: Six CRPF personnel were injured when their vehicle collided with a truck in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, officials said.
The accident took place at Zainapora in the district, adding the injured jawans were rushed to a hospital.
Meanwhile, the death toll in Monday’s road accident in Baramulla district rose to two as the driver of the SRTC bus, identified as Abdul Qayoom Shah, succumbed to injuries.
A sarpanch, Fayaz Ahmad Bhat of Gulgam in Kupwara district, had died when the SRTC bus collided with a truck at Tappar in the Pattan area of Baramulla district.
