DLIC meeting for Mumkin, Tejasvini held
ANANTNAG: The DLIC under Mumkin and Tejaswini schemes was held Friday at DC Office, here under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr Piyush Singla.
With regard to the Mumkin scheme, Asstt Director Employment, Anantnag informed the chair that 71 persons have already received vehicles under the scheme and a further 27 cases have been placed for sanction of the committee. After thorough deliberation, all the cases were approved.
Regarding the Tejasvini scheme, 32 cases have been sanctioned by the committee and the applicants have undergone training and DPRs have been prepared.
The DC directed the officials present to ensure that there is wide dissemination regarding the benefits of the scheme. He said that the scheme is one of the most important initiatives for women empowerment and as such all interested females should receive the benefits.
Dr Singla also took a strong note regarding some cases that have opted out of the schemes and directed the AD and LDM to inquire into the reasons. He said that a joint interaction will be held with the employees and applicants to prevent such drop out cases.
The meeting was attended by CPO, ARTO and District Nodal Officer EDI.
