ASRTU organizes conference on ITS for State Transport Undertakings
NEW DELHI: Association State Road Transport Undertakings (ASRTU), Friday organized a conference on adoption and implementation of Intelligent Transport System (ITS) for State Transport Undertakings (STU’s) at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
The conference was held under the Chairmanship of Joint Secretary (Transport), Union Ministry of Road and Transport, Amit Vardhan, which was among others attended by all State Transport Corporations from across the country.
Pertinently, JKRTC will be rolling out Intelligent Transport Management System (ITMS) by ending April 2022. In the first phase online ticket booking facilities will be provided for the passenger bus services.
Managing Director, JKRTC, Angrez Singh Rana and GM, JKRTC, Piyush Dhotra participated in the conference.
