JK reports 540 covid-19 cases, two deaths
Srinagar, Feb 11: Jammu and Kashmir reported 540 new covid-19 infections while as two persons succumbed to the virus during the past 24 hours, officials said Friday.
They said 312 of the fresh cases were reported from Jammu Division and 228 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall infection tally to 449873.
Regarding the fatalities, the officials said that both of them were reported from Kashmir Valley. So far 4741 persons have succumbed to the virus—2320 in Jammu and 2421 in Kashmir.
Giving district-wise details of the cases, they said, Srinagar reported 89, Baramulla 29, Budgam 32, Pulwama 12, Kupwara 26, Anantnag 7, Bandipora 15, Ganderbal 15, Kulgam 6, Shopian 6, Jammu 131, Udhampur 22, Rajouri 9, Doda 61, Kathua 27, Samba 7, Kishtwar 1, Poonch 6, Ramban 36 and Reasi 12.
