17 year old youth dies, father suffers injuries after garage collapsed
Budgam, July 18: Father-son duo came under a concrete slab in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district resulting in the death of 17 year old son.
Police sources said that the mishap happen during construction of a garage at Warasangam village of Budgam. The concrete slab of the garage collapsed under which the father son duo got trapped.
“Abdul Hamid Bhat (50) and his 17 year old son Ajaz Hamid Bhat were shifted to hospital where Ajaz succumbed to his injuries while Abdul Hamid is undergoing treatment at District Hospital Budgam,” they said.
A medico said that the son died on way while the father is undergoing treatment.
A police official while confirming the incident said that a case has been registered and investigation set into motion. (KNT)
