Tral gunfight ends as second militant also killed: Police
Pulwama, June 02: Two militants were killed during a gunfight between forces and militants at Saimoh in Tral belt of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday morning.
Meanwhile, internet has been snapped in the area as forces are conducting searches.
A police official said that two militants were killed in the gunfight which broke out this morning.
The operation began after a joint team of Awantipora Police, Army’s 42 RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation after getting specific information about the presence of militants in the area.
“One more militant killed. Operation concludes. Incriminating materials including arms & ammunition recovered. Further details shall follow,” police said ina tweet.
Meanwhile, authorities have snapped mobile internet in the area.
