Two dead bodies recovered
Srinagar/Kulgam, May 30: Police on Saturday recovered two dead bodies from Kulgam and Srinagar areas.
Police sources said that a man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree at Nipora area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday morning.
Witnesses said that a man identified as Ravinder Singh, son of Deva Singh (32) of Jiger Simbli Paryal Jammu was found hanging from a tree near Alpine Petrol Pump at Nipora.
Meanwhile, the body has been shifted to a nearby hospital for necessary medico legal formalities.
In another incident a truck conductor was found dead in his truck near FCI godown in Shaheed Gunj area of Srinagar.
The truck conductor identified as Tarsaim Lal of Punjab was found dead in his truck near FCI godown in Shaheed Gunj area, police sources said.
The deceased has been sent to GMC Srinagar for legal medico formalities while swab has also been taken to see whether the deceased was positive for Novel Coronavirus, officials added. (KNO)
