Forces launch search operation in Baramulla village

Baramulla, May 30: Government forces on Saturday launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Nowpora Jageer area of Baramulla in north Kashmir, reports said.
They said that Army’s 52 RR, SOG of JK police and 176 bn CRPF jointly launched a search operation at Nowpora Jageer Baramulla.
A police official said that following inputs about the presence of militants in the area, the CASO was launched.
Reports said that all entry and exit points of the area were sealed by forces and house to house searches were going on in the area when this report was filled.
