Biker fired at by Army man in Pulwama
Srinagar: A youth was on Saturday injured after an Army man fired upon him during a naka checking in Bandzoo area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Sources said that a youth identified as Shahid Farooq of Prichoo Pulwama, (18) was injured after Army opened fire upon him at Bandzoo Pulwama while they were checking the locals commuting on Shopian-Pulwama road.
Army officials however, said that the youth was asked to stop during the checking but he did not stop and tried to escape from the spot following which he was fired upon.
The injured youth has been admitted to District hospital Pulwama for specialized treatment. (KNO)
