Nocturnal Gunfight rattles Shopain village
Srinagar: A nocturnal gunfight is raging between militants and government forces in Ratnipora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian, reports said Friday.
Reports said that a joint Army’s 34 RR, CRPF and SOG launched cordon and search operation in Ratnipora.
A senior Police officer said that exchange of firing has taken place in Ratnipora between militants and government forces after having reliable information about the presence of some militants in the area.
As per the sources two to three militants are believed to be trapped. (GNS)
