On Speechless Animals!
Peer Faizan Bashir
Imagine a sheep drags you by the neck and slashes your throat on-the-ground with a sharp-edged object…unequivocally; this arouses the intense feeling of pain! The pain having no powers- it doesn’t kill us; it doesn’t harm our body. Just a decision to fend it off, and it is over. But, what about the real assaults on speechless animals (Slaughtering and eating) which we are used to doing every now and then!
Genesis ans stoppage of the crime
Unfold history- it has been observed and analysed by the archaeologists that it had merely been the shortage of agricultural activities, or to explain it more clearly, the brains of the primitive people had not gotten developed so much so that they could find an alternative food to eat instead of hunting on animals.
There was the rub…but, after sometime of human morphological developments, he starts to tame animals; in fact, goat was among the first to have been tamed. And what, he begins cultivating small plants to live on-eat them to satiate hunger of which the effects were phenomenal.
Reasons behind committing the crime and the denotation of humanity
One must be wondering that how did the horrendous act of humanity start again. Well! The answer lies in our rotten nature that we murder animals merely to satiate the stomach! Religion would just be another reason for the perpetrators of the crime, and we are much aware of it.
Far better would to replace the sinful religion (that doesn’t cherish and treasure creatures) by Humanity which emphasis on loving and caring the creation rather than getting them feel pained in the process!
An alternative food
Humans can live on eating edible plants which are well known to us having no sentience- they are not susceptible to feel physical pain. Having given so many other alternatives by God, should not we sustain ourselves on those blessings without committing the crime!?
Conclusion:
Let us all have the oath to love the creation, feed them out of our best. Things which teach us to slay them for selfish stomach be put to an end. One day, I believe you will shine—shine like a diamond.
