Encounter rages in Tral village

Tral: An encounter has started between government forces and holed up militants in south Kashmir’s Tral area on Thursday morning, reports said.
Sources said that government forces comprising of men from 42RR, SOG Tral and CRPF cordoned off Gulshanpora village in Tral after specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
As the troops were involved in carrying out a search and cordon area, suspected militants holed up in a house fired on the troops.
“The fire has been returned back and an encounter has started in the area,” sources added.
