CASO launched in Anantnag village
Srinagar: Forces on Wednesday launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Shangus village of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, witnesses said.
They said that troops launched the search operation at at Sheikhpora village of Shangus after getting specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Eye witnesses said that army, police and paramilitary forces cordoned off the village ans started door to door searches. However, no contact was established with the militants so far.
