Mehbooba tears into BJP, says by bringing in triple talaq bill they are entering into our homes
Srinagar: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Monday took on the right wing BJP by claiming that they are entering into our homes by bringing in the triple talaq bill.
“This will disturb our family life and also, there’ll be more problems for women and men economically,” she told reporters during a briefing at here Srinagar residence.
“I’ve gone through a broken marriage and I feel that women face biggest challenge economically after her marriage is broken. When we talk about reservations for Muslims, BJP rejects it on religious lines. But when it comes to this kind of law, then they run to Parliament,” she was quoted by ANI as having said.
