Srinagar: Forces on Thursday morning defused an IED planted near Garoora village on Bandipora-Srinagar highway in north Kashmir, police said.
A poliuce official said that an IED was spotted by a road opening party of Army’s 13 RR unit around 8am. He said the IED was planted inside an iron container on the roadside.
“The IED was later defused by police’s bomb disposal squad,” he said.
