India-Pak troops exchange fire in Uri

Srinagar: Fresh gunfire was exchanged  between the troops on India and Pakistan in north Kashmir’s Uri sector, reports said on Thursday.

They said that Pakistani troops fired at various Indian positions in Kamlakote area of Uri sector on Thursday morning.

However, there was no immediate report of any casualty reports added.

Pertinently, on Wednesday two army men identified as Sepoy Depo Vishunath and Naik M Walim of 8 RR were injured after troops exchanged fire on the forward posts. The two army men were hospitalized.
