JRL calls for shutdown in poll bound areas
Srinagar: Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) on Monday asked people to observe a complete protest shutdown in Trehgam, Qadirabad, Qaziabad, Naidkhai, Rafiabad, Pattan, Sukhnag, Parnewa, Shadimarg, Kapran, Hermain, Pombay, Larnoo, Breng and Sagam areas which are going to polls in the 6th phase of Panchayat elections.
In a statement issued here, JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued here asked people to demonstrate their total rejection and disregard of this ‘futile exercise’ by staying away and boycotting it completely.
