Civilian injured in forces action in Pulwama

Pulwama: A civilian was on Saturday injured after he was fired upon by the forces during a Cordon and Search operations (CASO) in Niloora village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Police identified the civilian as Bashir Ahmad Mir of Litter Pulwama, saying that he was injured as he tried to ‘run away’ during CASO in Niloora village of the district.
Locals however, said that an Army Casper of 55 RR was moving through the area and it was stoned near Jamia Masjid Niloora, which forces retaliated, resulted in injuries to a civilian.
A senior police official said that a CASO was going on in the area and the person tried to run away, therefore army fired upon him in leaving him injured as he recieved a bullet in his leg.
Sources meanwhile said that he was shifted to nearby hospital where his condition is said to be stable.
