Baramulla: Two persons died in different road mishaps in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.
A 60 year old woman died and several otgers were injured after the vehicle in which they were traveling turned turtle in Uri sector.
Reports said that a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK0F-9820 was on its way to Churanda village along Line of Control (LOC) when the driver of the vehicle lost control.
Nazeeri Begum wife of Beeru Jinder died on spot, while other passengers who were traveling in the vehicle recieved injuries and were rushed to local hospital for advance treatment.
She was 60.
In another road accident an 18 year old youth was killed in a motorcycle crash.
Reports said that he lost control on his speed and motorcycle hit a tree at Trikolbal area of Pattan.
He was rushed to Sub District hospital Pattan where doctors declared him brought dead.
The deceased was identified as Asif Ali Dar son of Mohammad Yousuf Dar resident of Trikolbal Pattan.
Meanwhile police took cognizance of both the accidents
