Clashes reported in Bijbehara, other areas
Srinagar: Clashes between protestors and security personnel have been reported after the killing of six militants in a gunfight with the government forces on Friday in Bijbehara area south Kashmir.
Witnesses said that violent protests have been reported across the south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Reports said that people took to streets in Shalgund-Kanelwan village of Dachnipora belt of Bibehara where the gunfight took place earlier today.
A local said that forces also resorted to aerial firing on protesters in Khanabal locality of Anantnag town.
When this report was being filed protests were going on in various areas.
