Malik remembers slain Zainakote youth on his anniversary
Srinagar: Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik on Wednesday paid tributes to slain Gowhar Nazeer of Zainakot HMT who was killed on this day in 2016 when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on Kashmir visit.
Recalling the sacrifice of Gowhar, Malik in a statement issued here said that “from 2008 till today thousands of our innocent youth have fallen to bullets, pellets, bombs and shells of forces , thousands have been injured among whom hundreds have lost their eye sight while as thousands have been subjected to torture and incarcerations in various jails.”
“India and its Kashmiri supporters have unleashed a reign of terror against innocent and peaceful Kashmiri youth and have left no space for peaceful political activities and hence is pushing these innocents to the wall,” he said.
Malik said that slain Gowhar Nazeer was subjected to ‘state sponsored terrorism’ and “till date no one has been penalized for his brutal killing.”
“The sacrifices of these martyrs are precious treasure of Kashmiris and this nation is grateful to these great sons of soil,” he said.
