Pulwama Karate team shines at All India Karate Championship
A 22 member Pulwama Karate team is returning home after shinning at the national championship, with bagging one Gold, two Silver and five Bronze medals at All India Karate Championship held at M.A. stadium, Jammu.
Sahil Sheeraz won the Gold medal, while as Omais Arshid and Tawheed Nazir secured Silver.
In the Bronze category, Mir Sehar, Mir Arusha Iqbal, Mir Mehroosa Assad, Faisal Bashir, Shafayat Gulzar secured five Bronze medals.
All the students who brought laurels to the region belong to Valley Public School, Litter Pulwama.
The team was coached by Gold Medallist Sheeraz Ahmad Bhat and Mudasir Ahmad Dar under banner of Shahoora Sports Academy.
