Protest at Kashmir University against braid chopping

Kashmir University Students Association (KUSA) today protested against the increasing incidents of braid chopping in the valley.

According to the reports, KUSA female wing protested against the braid chopping inside the university campus in Hazratbal, Srinagar. Reports said that they were demanding the action against the culprits.

Around 60 cases of braid chopping were reported in the valley from last few weeks. Police has announced a reward of 6 lakh rupees to those who inform them about the braid choppers.

Many innocent people including some tourists were thrashed across the valley who were falsely accused  of braid chopping.
