Cop shot at in Shopian
Srinagar: Suspected militants on Monday fired upon a policeman in south Kashmir’s Shopian area resulting in injuries to him and a civilian.
According to local sources, a cop namely, Bilal Ahmad was fired upon by militants at main Chowk Shopian resulting in injuries to him.
A civilian namely, Rafiq Ahmad Lone resident of Vailoo, Shopian also sustained injuries in the firing.
“Both the injured have been shifted to nearby hospital”, local sources said
