Class work to remain suspended in some Kashmir schools, colleges tomorrow

Srinagar: Fearing student protests, authorities have decided to suspend class work in few colleges and higher secondary schools of some Kashmir districts tomorrow.

According to officials, class work will remain suspended at Amar Singh college and M A Road Women’s Degree College in Srinagar while as the rest of the educational institutions will remain open in the district.

Similarly, in Baramulla, government Degree College Sopore and Boys higher secondary school Sopore will remain closed for students.

In Kupwara district, class work at Government Degree College Kupwara, Handwara and Higher secondary school Handwara, Langate and Kralgund will remain suspended tomorrow.

Shopian district administration has decided to close Degree College Shopian and one higher secondary school of the town while as rest of the institutions will remain functional on Monday while as district administration Ganderbal has decided to suspend classwork in all higher secondary schools and degree colleges of the district tomorrow.
